ILO/Korea Partnership Programme
The Republic of Korea is a key partner of the ILO in advancing decent work and social justice worldwide.
The ILO works closely with the Korean International Cooperation Agency, the Ministry of Labour and the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries on boosting local economies, supporting women refugees and host populations to establish sustainable agro-businesses, on promoting productivity, skills development and employment growth, including in the fishery and garment industries.
Furthermore, the ILO benefits from the Korean expertise through the country’s participation in the Junior Professional Officer programme and professional secondment including from the Expert Programme.
