Saudi Arabia
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been an ILO member state since 1976 and has ratified 18 ILO Conventions, including seven of ten core Conventions. The ILO Technical Cooperation Programme with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development is in its 2nd phase. Work is ongoing on employment policy, skills development, occupational safety and health, social dialogue, fundamental principles and rights at work as well as cooperatives. The ILO is an active member of the United Nations Country Team and works with the Federation of Saudi Chambers and the Saudi National Committee of Workers Committees.
