Tonga
Tonga became an ILO member in 2016 and has ratified one fundamental ILO Convention. The ILO and Tonga work together on key areas such as improving labour market information systems, strengthening employers’ and workers’ organizations and ratification and application of international labour standards. The ILO’s work in Tonga is managed by the ILO Office for Pacific Island Countries, in Suva, Fiji.
