United Republic of Tanzania
Tanzania has been a member of the ILO since 1962. Today, the ILO provides technical and financial support to the country in collaboration with its tripartite constituents (government, workers’ and employers’ organization) for employment creation, cooperative development, entrepreneurship training, the expansion of social protection, labour law compliance, HIV/AIDS, the elimination of the worst forms of child labour, and strengthening of social dialogue, among others.
