Vanuatu
Vanuatu became an ILO member in 2004 and has ratified nine ILO Conventions, including eight fundamental Conventions. The ILO and Vanuatu collaborate on crucial areas such as labour law reform, national employment policy, enhancing job seekers' access to decent work and social protection as well as strengthening capacity of tripartite partners for improved social dialogue. The ILO’s work in Vanuatu is managed by the ILO Office for Pacific Island Countries, in Suva, Fiji.
